Meghalaya Police have charged a man who allegedly trespassed into a church and shouted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ at the altar, causing religious discord. Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma condemned the act, and legal action is underway. Social activist Angela Rangad and the Central Puja Committee also expressed strong disapproval, urging stringent punishment.
